    Statue of Unity

    The Statue of Unity stands tall at an impressive height of 182 metres, making it the world’s tallest statue. Behold this architectural marvel, which is much more than just a monument; it houses an exhibition hall, a Viewing Gallery, and even a high-speed lift within its structure.

    Sardar Sarovar Dam

    The Sardar Sarovar Dam (SSD) is the largest among the 30 dams planned on the Narmada River. The foundation stone of this ambitious project was laid by Jawaharlal Nehru on 5 April 1961.

    Recognised as one of the largest dams in the world and India’s third highest concrete dam, it stands as a remarkable hydraulic engineering achievement. The project involves the construction of a series of large, multi-purpose irrigation and hydroelectric dams on the Narmada River, contributing significantly to water supply, irrigation, and power generation.

    A one-of-its-kind garden, the Valley of Flowers is spread across 600 acres. It is located approximately 6 km from the Vindhyachal Range and 11 km from the Satpura Range.

    What began in 2016 as a garden with 48,000 plants has grown impressively to nurture over 2,40,000 plants within just three years.

    The Cactus Garden

    A truly unique and fascinating collection of plants, cacti are known for their diverse shapes and sizes and their remarkable ability to thrive in extremely harsh environments, protected by thorns and spikes.

    The Cactus Garden has been developed by the Gujarat Ecological Education and Research Foundation (GEER Foundation), an autonomous body established by the Forests & Environment Department, Government of Gujarat. Spread across 836 square metres, the garden is home to over 500 species of cactus and succulent plants, offering visitors a rare and captivating botanical experience.

    Butterfly Garden

    When it comes to admiring nature’s beauty, nothing compares to the delicate flutter of butterfly wings. The Butterfly Garden is a one-of-its-kind attraction, home to 38 species of butterflies that gracefully soar across 6 acres of beautifully landscaped terrain, supported by 45 species of host and nectar plants.

    Designed with dedicated spaces for butterflies to lay eggs and for caterpillars to thrive, the garden offers a complete ecological experience. Interactive selfie points also allow visitors to capture and cherish their memorable moments amidst this vibrant paradise.

    Zarwani Waterfalls

    Nestled amid the scenic Satpura Range, Zarwani Waterfalls is a popular destination for tourists and nature enthusiasts visiting Gujarat. During the monsoon season, the waterfall comes alive in its full glory, with misty sprays creating a magical atmosphere that leaves visitors mesmerised.

    Shoolpaneshwar Wildlife Sanctuary

    Rajavant Palace

    Built in 1910 by Maharana Chhatrasinhji for his son, Yuvraj Vijay Sinhji, before he ascended the throne in September 1915, the palace stands as a magnificent symbol of royal heritage and Victorian architecture. With its semi-circular portico, Corinthian pillars, Gothic arches, European domes, and scenic river views, the palace exudes timeless old-world charm that is truly unforgettable.

    Garudeshwar
